More for Jars of Joy at MFW

As I said in my earlier entry, I have always loved canning jars - I guess they bring back memories of the good things my Mom canned from our garden, and the rows of the filled jars in our basement.  Wonder if she has the same fond memories? :))  Anyway, I'm submitting this reject from the latest Paper Crafts Card Creations call to the Jars of Joy challenge at Moxie Fab World.....let's see if I have any better luck this time!

supplies:  white cardstock, gingham papers from Cosmo Cricket Material Girl, Graphic 45 Little Darlings, October Afternoon Sidewalks, PaperTrey Ink Friendship Jar, Hero Arts CL371 Essential Messages, VersaFine onyx black ink, Tombo pale grey marker, paper doily, assorted buttons, We R Memory Keepers lollipop baker's twine, Signo white pen, Ranger glossy accents as glue

  3. Love this, Lin! My mom canned everything, too. But, I have the fondest memories of going through my gramdmother's button jar - I just loved sorting by color, size and design. So, this jar of buttons is just adorable to me.

  16. REJECT??? impossible! This is a beautiful card. I love the colors and the doily puts the cherry on top. I teach a card making class for seniors and I would love to use this card for inspiration. I would love you're permission to take a picture and let them recreate this master piece. I'm sure many of them would say it brought back memories for them also. thank you for sharing. If you agree I would love to send you their feed back.

    1. Thank you, Cathy Lee, I would be honored! I see this card popping up on Pinterest often, so, although the magazine didn't like it, I'm glad to see that others do.
