Heartfelt Wishes

This week the challenge at Flourishes is to use pins of any kind.  I chose to use a decorative pin that Trace sent me.  I threaded it with some pink beads before gluing it to the butterfly body.

The butterfly and sentiment were stamped and heat embossed in white on vellum before cutting them out.  The butterfly trail was stamped on the pink panel, then sewn to the card, along with the 2 printed panels.  I slit an opening in the card seam to thread the sheer ribbon through, and then tied a bow in the front and slid the pin through it to secure the butterfly.

I'm also entering this into Caardvark's Birthday challenge, and into PaperPlay's challenge: Anything Goes.

Supplies: Hero Arts H5426 Artist Butterfly, CL311 Valentine Flourish, CL272 All Occasion Messages, pink and white cardstock, white vellum, scraps of pink gingham and dotted papers, VersaMark ink and white embossing powder, Making Memories flower pin, unknown pink beads, wide sheer pink ribbon
