Julie Ranae is taking us on a tour around the world for her challenges at the Play Date Cafe. This week it's Provence! Have never been there, but it brings to mind sunflowers, beautiful countryside, bright, happy colors. When I saw the inspiration picture, my eye went right to the pitcher of flowers on the top shelf. I knew I had a little bit of this Frances Meyer "Maison de Campagne" paper, and that was the basis for my jug. I simulated the paneling in the green cupboard, and found some orange patterned papers to use for my flowers. And I thought this sentiment was the perfect one for a journey theme.
Supplies: HACL304 A Million Thanks (flowers), CL371 Essential Messages, Frances Meyer "Maison de Campagne" designer paper, various unknown orange printed papers, cream, green, orange, brown, rust, cardstock, Versafine onyx black and Memories Artprint Brown inks for stamping, faded jeans distress and Palette Burnt Umber inks for shading pot and shelf
