This is my Fairy Rose, one of the first plants we put in our gardens years and years ago. It is loaded with tiny pale pink roses, and is as wide as it is tall, about 3 or 4 feet either way.
These poppies reseed themselves each year. If you look closely, you will see single and double flowers. Our neighbor Jeanne gave us these seeds years ago.
This is a hollyhock mallow, Malva alcea, one of those plants that you can't get rid of.......I've finally given up, and just try to control it a little. It is pretty when it blooms.
This is a perennial geranium, Johnson's blue, Geranium sanguineum, and below is a pink variety.
This is a daylily that came with the house. You see them growing in the fields around here, too. We have moved them numerous times and they seem happy wherever you put them.
In the back border are some paler daylilies and purple beebalm.
And finally, the portulacas we plant around this sundial every year. This was taken last year because something has been eating them this year!
thank you so much for sharing photos of your beautiful flowers!!
