A little Autumn giveaway

I've been blogging now for not quite a year and so it's high time to have a little giveaway to thank you all for your support and generosity of spirit that I have found in this wonderful community of creative women.  I have an extra of this Watercolor Petals set that I'd like to give to someone, and I'll also make you a fabric flower pin of your choosing.  I'll just ask that you become a follower, and then leave a comment on this thread, telling me your favorite time of year.

I'll leave this open until September 30, and then on October 1st (my favorite month of the year), I'll choose a winner. You can pick a color and which of the flowers you'd like me to make for you, either the Stencil Flower (shown here in pink plaid, the flatter of the 2) or the Large Flower (much poofier one). Thanks!

  16. Hi, Lin! How very thoughtful of you to think of us...we should be thanking YOU! I have always been a fan of your beautiful style...so soft and feminine and pretty! I am already a follower and love your blog.

My favorite season is spring, followed by fall in a close second. I'm lucky to live in a place that experiences all four seasons and I welcome the changes as they come, but I do love the newness of spring after a cold, bare winter.

Have a greay day...and thanks again for your generous spirit!

I really can't pick a favourite season as I love something about each one - spring (fresh green leaves and buds, evenings getting longer, lamb skipping around the fields), summer (the lads' birthdays, warmer weather, school holidays, longer days, smell of cut grass) autumn (wedding anniversary, gorgeous colours, rustling through the leaves on walks, toffee apples), winter (Christmas, snow & hot chocolate).

  35. Hi Lin! I would have become a follower even if you weren't giving away anything! I'm so glad I stumbled upon your art work, it's lovely!! My Fav time of year is Fall - no question. For so many reasons but mostly because it reminds me of home (NM) when the air is cool at night, there's almost "no" weather during the day, and the colors of autumn are everywhere. We always wait for Summer to pass and travel home during the Fall!
    Hugs,
    Anne

  52. Hi, Lin,
    Congratulations on your blog anniversary.
Now that I've found you (outside the Flickr group, etc.) I will be returning to visit!
You are generous to offer a giveaway, and a handmade flower, all of which are stunning! But I'm not surprized, because yo
u were so generous and kind in welcoming me into the Hero Arts pool.
Not to confuse the question, but I have four favorite times of the year! It is the changing of the seasons that excite me and give me so much joy. The first blue skies and tight green buds of spring; the heavy green of ancient trees and the lazy days of summer; the turning leaves, crisping air, and holidays of Fall; the nippy air and crystal snowflake beauty when winter begins. So there you have it!
Thanks for all the beautiful inspiration you share!
