This is the gorgeous card by Mariana Grigsby that we are to case for the challenge at CASE Study this week. Mariana used a sentiment from my all time favorite Hero Arts sentiment set, with a background stamp, the lovely butterfly, beautiful pearls and some stitching. Here is my take:
I followed her lead all the way, just changing up my colors (an obvious choice for a heart-themed card) and stamps. I substituted clear heart gems for her pearls and my stitching is faux. I thought my butterfly needed a little something, so at the very last minute, I added the button.
I think this will also work for the wee Memories CAS challenge, so I'm entering it into that also.
Supplies: medium and darker mauve and olive cardstocks, victorian velvet and peeled paint distress inks, versamark ink and clear embossing powder, Hero Arts CG169 Heart Flourish, F5158 Heart Winged Butterfly, CL380 Truly Appreciated, Martha Stewart lacey heart border bunch, rhinestone heart gems, button
