My first step was to start with glossy white paper, and stamp the Stunning Snowflake Background in versamark, heat emboss it in silver and then rub on stormy sky and chipped sapphire distress inks. Next I ran a piece of packaging through the Divine Swirl embossing folder. From a white card front I cut a labels eight die, then inserted the layers above underneath. To finish I stamped, colored and constructed my snowman and added some blue snowflakes to the face of the card. That large punched glittered one was added to hide a smudge of ink. Here is a closer shot that shows the silver embossing and the layer of embossed packaging:
And a really close-up. While I like the snowflake folder that Donna used better, I think these swirls are effective, also:
