I woke up this morning and found this Speed Challenge at the Flourishes Blog - have you seen this month's new releases? I just had to try! We are to use this sketch and get a card made by 10:00 am Central Time - I think I've done it! Whew!! Here is the sketch:
And here's my card. I used mostly designer papers, given my almost 2 hours time constraint, except for the stamped flower and the sentiment. I LOVE these aquas and yellows together!
Here's a detail picture:
supplies: cream cardstock, papers from October Afternoon Thrift Shop and Fly a Kite, BoBunny Buttercup Dot (for flower), Hero Arts CG291 Three Dotted Flowers, inked with versamark, embossed in white, and shaded with wild honey distress ink, CL131 SparkleClear Messages, poppy chalk ink, EK Success scallop edge punch, Nestabilities oval die-cut, ecru lace from Carole, aqua pearls from Virginia
Love that gorgeous flower. The papers work so well together too.
ReplyDeleteI love the lace embellishment! It's a delightfully fresh spring-y greeting!
