Play Date Cafe #74

Here's my submission for this week's Play Date Cafe challenge, using the inspiration picture you'll see below it:


supplies:  turquoise, purple, and white cardstock, PSX stamp K-1695 from 1995, a gift from a friend, Hero Arts CL490 Sending Smiles Messages, Versafine onyx black, watercolor pencils, lace from Carole

Once, again PDCC has surprised me with some colors I wouldn't probably have tried on my own.  The inspriration picture made me think of a cottage in the French countryside, so I added the little bit of crochet lace to represent lacey curtains in my imaginary cottage.

    I have that stamp and haven't used it for years - your colouring of the tulips is beautiful, I love this card.

    Your coloring of the bucket of tulips is so lovely Lin! PSX really did produce some beautiful images. Your interpretation of the inspiration photo is spot on!

    Oh Lin you have used one of my all time fav stamps, I have this stamp and love it, in fact I love tulips...you have done an amazing job on this card, so, so beautiful. I miss PSX!

    Hi Lin--thanks for letting me know I'm not the only with camera issues mistaking purples for blue! I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me :) You've done a fabulous job colouring these tulips--so pretty!
