As much as I love being here in Florida, I am beginning to think about going back home. We will get there just in time to watch spring arrive, and one of my favorite things, besides watching baby plants pop out of the earth and double in size overnight, is watching the birds make their nests. When it gets warm enough, I can open the window in my craft room and get some fresh air and listen to the birds singing. I have a collection of "used" blue eggs that have fallen out of nests or the remains of hatched ones, which I keep in a tiny little hummingbird nest made of horsehair that my Dad found and gave to me many years ago.
So that is what inspired this card. I hope it evokes some nice thoughts or memories for you, too. The sentiment is computer-generated, a quote from the movie "August Rush" that I've used before.
supplies: kraft cardstock, BoBunny powder blue double dot, The Paper Studio "Textured Cream Sheet Music" (Hobby Lobby), edged with tea dye distress ink, Inkadinkado 97104 (bird's nest stamp), Memories Art Print Brown ink, watercolor pencils, digital bird (printed off at home to bring here; I think it's from the Graphic Fairy), , blue gingham ribbon, Nesties label eight

ReplyDeleteI always adore your creations. Especially the ones with music notes. There have been many that you've made, Lin. They've really inspired me that I finally bought some music notes and clef. This one is so pretty, and the quote, I agree, is very true. (love that movie, too)
