He was born in 1920 and celebrated his 91st birthday last month! Thankfully we have a good amount of pictures of both he and my Mom as young people, but alas, no wedding pictures. The tiny little picture in the upper right is him - you can see where Liam gets his curly hair; the picture is in bad shape, but it exists. There are 3 pictures of the 2 of us and the lower middle one was taken this year in Florida, with his beloved Heidi, his "little princess".
We will be visiting him and my Mom this week to celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary!!
This is so sweet! How blessed you are to have both of your parents. I love old photos - they bring back such precious memories. My dad will be 89 this July. I am blessed beyond words to still have him. Enjoy your DADDY :-)

ReplyDeleteAnd doesn't he look good still Lin! A lovely collage to keep - old family photos are so precious and being able to manipulate without damaging them is one of the great blessings of the digital age - in my humble opinion!
