Faux Embossing

I found a new technique that is really fun to do over at the Just Us Girls blog; it's called faux embossing.  Basically you use a punch or diecut in the same color as your main background, gluing the pieces on and it really does look embossed!  Here's what I came up with:

supplies: peachy pink and white card stock, Martha Stewart Monarch butterfly punches (2 sizes), Hero Arts Frame Cuts C, Classic Frame #DI008, E5388 Traditional Butterfly, The Craft's Meow Fly Free (sentiment), VersaFine Onyx Black ink, clear embossing powder, letraset markers and Prismacolor pencil, Scrapbook Adhesives 3D foam squares

    1. Sharon, the information you're seeking is in the fine print underneat the photo. The butterfly stamp is a 2010 Hero Arts one called Traditional Butterfly, #E5388, probably discontinued by now, and the sentiment stamp is from The Craft's Meow, which is now out of business. That stamp set was called Fly Free, by Nina Brackett.
