Island Blooms

I was shopping this afternoon after reading this morning about the new Hero Arts challenge for the month, Flowers.  In one of the shops I saw a new (to me) pattern by Vera Bradley.

It's called Island Blooms.  When we got home I started looking for a stamp that would be similar and here is the card I ended up making:

supplies: white card base, turquoise cardstock, Hero Arts CG403 Large Flower Background,  Versafine onyx black ink and clear embossing powder, white and lime colored pencils, CL169 SparkleClear Happy Thoughts, lime ribbon, pearls

Also adding this to the Simon Says Stamp challenge: Anything Goes.

    Love your version of Island Blooms, Lin! Vera B should've used your blue - so vibrant with the rich green !!

    I love the flowers in that soft white tone, and paired with the greens and blues really makes for one pretty card, love it Lin!

    The blue is so pretty with those vibrant greens. Reminds me of living in St Thomas!!! Very island-y!

    Lin, that is so funny...when I read the new topic for this month at Hero Arts, I couldn't help but think of all the pretty Vera Bradley patterns out there, too! I love your interpretation of Island Blooms...lovely coloring and rich color choices!
