Of course, my eye went right to the quilt, then to the lamp, and then I remembered that the My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose "Mabel" paper pad had some lovely coordinating papers in these colors. Here is my card:
supplies: parchment cardstock, design papers from MME Stella & Rose "Mabel" paper pad, Nesties scalloped heart die, Sizzix little flowers embossing folder, Hero Arts CL188 SparkleClear Tea sentiment, pool button, natural jute twine, Scrapbook Adhesives 3D foam squares to lift heart
I love to use an embossing folder all across the finished card to simulate "quilting"......I think it gives a nice definition to the card.

ReplyDeleteHello Lin
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being the Gd this week on OCC, and how wonderfully you have interpreted the photo, as soon as I saw the card it reminded me of a quilt; although I do not make them any-more I still appreciate the wonderful designs, and they can work on cards so well as you have displayed here. A lovely soft textured card that would warm anyone who receives it.
Smiles:)
