Bordered Sentiments

The challenge at Make It Mondays this week is called Bordered Sentiments.  It is one of my favorite techniques: when you take the masking off the sentiment, it's like magic to see the finished card!  I chose to make my card completely 1-layer; no embellishments at all:

I used PTI's Garden Variety II for my sentiment and Flower Fusion #6 for the smallest pink flower and the black dots.

  7. Hi, Lin! Sorry I haven't been by in such a long time, but I had a spare minute tonight and had to stop by. So glad I did! I LOVE this one-layer beauty! My favorite type of card...and you did it amazingly! One layer masking perfection, that's what THIS is!

  14. What a great technique and a wonderful card. Love that sentiment and how you set it off with that great, yet unusual, color combo. Doesn't need a single embellishment - this is so rich!
