I used 2 "shades" of kraft and these Hero Arts stamps: CG127 Flower Box, and a woodblock from 2002 that I found in a local stamp swap this spring - was thrilled to find it, as I don't think I've ever seen it, and the set appeared to be brand new! The set is LL747 Friendship Messages; the one I chose for this card is E2289 Thank You Message.
Absolutely amazing! So romantic and so pretty and beautiful - great coloring too!

ReplyDeleteJust perfect! I love this card....so very pretty!
ReplyDeleteLin I love the look of kraft paper, but what really caught my eye was your creativeness to layer two different tones of the cardstock. Beautiful effect that doesn't deter from the warm pink coloring you used.
ReplyDeleteI love that Flower Box stamp! It looks so pretty with your wonderful coloring, Lin!
ReplyDeleteLin, I was wondering how you had two different shades of kraft when I first saw the card...thanks for the tip (I love the idea of using two shades of kraft!). I have to try coloring with pencils on kraft, I haven't gone there yet. You are inspiring me every day to try new things...and to play more on kraft! I lust give this challenge a try! Thanks for always giving me a push and a creative boost, I love visiting your blog!
ReplyDeleteOH how sweet, Lin! Pink and kraft are so pretty together and you do it like no other, my friend!
