Snowflakes Sparkle

When I saw the challenge at PaperTrey Ink's Make it Monday today, I knew exactly what I wanted to make for it. The technique, using a glue pen and glitter to selectively add small areas of glitter, is one that I have been using all season, and I love the control you get with it.  Here's my card:


supplies: white cardstock, Darice snowflake embossing folder, PTI In the Meadow sentiment, Tombow pink marker as ink, hand-made pink poinsettia from Marcy,  glue pen, Hero Arts prisma glitter


I CASEd this design from Kath in Scotland, and added glitter to my embossed snowflakes and around the edge of the embossed circle using the above technique.   The beautiful flower is a gift from my friend Marcy, hand made, I believe by Linda Coughlin.  I couldn't find an ink to match it, so I used a Tombo marker to ink my sentiment before stamping

    OH EM GEE! This is DREAMY! I adore that sentiment! The glitter DAZZLES the eye, Lin! I wish Linda would make more, but I do know how, so I'll share! I haven't even used mine yet either! The pink is THE best! mwahhh!!
