Welcome to our 3rd day of previews of the newest stamps being released at The Craft's Meow! Today's set is another by Karen Baker, called Geometric Foundations, and I know you're going to love this one! Karen's filled it with 8 different geometrics, plus singles of each one, and 9 sentiments that go along with them! I made you 2 cards today using this set:
When I saw these chevrons, I thought immediately of our nephew, who has just returned to Kuwait form a tour in Afhanistan, and made a military-inspired card to send to him. Both the solid and the outline chevrons plus the sentiment are in this set.
For this card, I went the CAS route, stamping that squares motif twice, overlapping it, and then coloring it in with markers. Again, the sentiment is also in this set.
Now I hope you'll visit The Craft's Meow to see what my team-mates and our February Guest Designer Lynn Mangan made with this set. While you're there, don't forget to leave a comment there by 8:00 PM Pacific time- a random commenter will win this awesome Geometric Foundations set!
See you back here tomorrow for our reveal of our final 2 sets!
Fabulous cards, Lin! It is so tough for me to use graphic images like these, so I thank you for these two wonderful ideas!

Love these fun geometric shapes and what you have done with them. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job with these stamps, Lin. The first card is not one I would look at and say you made it; but the second one is more like YOU! I guess it has a lot to do with the colors, :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas, I never know exactly how to use that type of stamp. TFS
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a fun and versatile set, Lin. That military card is so perfect and so thoughtful. Thanks for this inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you stamped those squares! Now I am going to have to sort through my stash of stamps and see if I have one that I can use that way.
ReplyDeleteHi Lin! These are so cool and graphic! LOVE it!! Great inspiration for us today! :-)
