Moxie Fab World, Cath is celebrating the publication of PaperCraft's newest release, Birthday Creations. One of her challenges this week is simply to make some birthday cards. That works for me, as I have to make some for my Mom and 2 of my sisters in August. Thank you, Cath, for getting me in gear early!
I decided to use washi tapes on these 2 for my sisters:
supplies: yellow and black washis, Hero Arts Be Happy and Card Messages, BoBunny double dots papers
supplies: floral and dotted washis (Michael's and Martha), Hero Arts Sending Smiles Messages, Penny Black's new
"flutters" dies, pink and green pearls
These are so summery and sweet, Lin. Your sisters are going to love 'em. I have a friend who raises bees, so I may have to use the one one as a special inspiration. I am, however, not a tape gal.....I bought and tried, but can't seem to get it. I do like the controlled way in which you have used it - masterfully! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletelove both the cards - and agree with maureen on the tape thing - can't seem to make myself tear the tape and put it on a card - so glad to see cards with cut ends - if that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteI do believe I'm gonna have to go buy those pretty, pink and green washi tapes - LOVE THEM! It's such a pretty card, Lin!
ReplyDeleteYour first one is adorable! Love the colors and that darling bee! Thanks for making me smile this morning! :)
