It's Wednesday, and that means another challenge is starting at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
This week we want you to STAMP: use a wood, a cling, or a clear stamp and NO DIGIS this week. The design team had a choice of using either Clearly Besotted or Neat & Tangled stamps. I have had my eye on this Clearly Besotted Autumn Flowers. I made 2 cards with it today.
My first card uses the pine sprig and a pine cone from my stamp set. I first stamped the sprig all over the green card base, and then again twice on cream cardstock (this sentiment is not included in the set), which I framed in brown.
The leaves in this set are the reason I wanted it - they are so realistic, and look wonderful stamped in distress inks. The sentiment is part of this set also. To finish, I watered down some of the same inks and splattered them lightly here and there with a paint brush.
