The Valentine blitz, I mean. Since this is my favorite holiday, I am carrying on my Mom's tradition of sending Valentines to family and friends. Here are 2 that will be going out very soon, using Simon's new heart doily dies, mixed with papers from BoBunny's
Head Over Heels Collection.
Supplies: Simon's
Large Heart Doily, sentiment from Simon's
Only Have Eyes for You,
Lawn Fawn sequins, black pearls, and Doodlebug
Ladybug doodle twine
Thanks for visiting today!
Your families are very lucky to receive these beautiful Valentines made by you Lin!! TFS!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Lin, and what a lovely tradition! Jo x
ReplyDeleteHow awesome are these cards?!! I love them both, Lin! You combined the dies, papers and stickers perfectly! Both backgrounds are fabulous too - can't decide if I like the one with that paper, or your sequins and splatters!
ReplyDeleteYou do that too? I don't always get Christmas cards out, but I love to send each family member a valentine to remind them how much I love them. Your cards are so beautiful -- who wouldn't know how loved they are?
ReplyDeleteP.S. As valentine's day approaches, more and more people are repinning my pin of your "SCS Get the Tape" card. So far I have 22 repins and 4 likes, just from my pin alone! Looks like a lot of lucky people might get a similar valentine this year.
Those are lovely. The combination os dies, paper and stickers is perfect. I guess the internet will be all hearts and flowers for the next two weeks.
ReplyDeleteThe recipients of these cards will be so delighted to get them, Lin! I love the Bo Bunny paper on the first one and the splatters on the second. The heart doily dies are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI am attempting to get some Valentine cards made now, right in the middle of re-organizing my studio! And, my daughter is moving, again, on Monday. I will be busy helping her next week. Not enough time in a day anymore. :)
gorgeous cards Lin. We don't do Valentines here in NZ so I miss out on such great ideas.
ReplyDeleteAll such beautiful cards! What lucky Valentine recipients.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant Blitz beginning, Lin! Love the switch from pinks to bold red! Fabulous cards :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Lin! I'm so excited to see your Valentine's blitz! I feel like I just finished mine (for the Card from the Heart Valentine card drive) but now I have to make cards for my family and little neices and nephews...I could use inspiration and I know I'll find it here!! I LOVE your cards today...love those heart dies, so lacey and pretty!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards Lin. I am just smitten with hearts and pink and red this time of year!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards, Lin! I love the soft, feminine color palette on your first card and the red, black and white on the 2nd one is so striking! Once again, you've knocked it out of the park...WOW!
