And a closer look to see the miracles of even the tiniest of flowers:
The smallest are scilla; I have patches of the blues growing with the little daffodils and a small clump of the white ones out back. The other 2 flowers are Lenten Roses. The daffodil is tete-a-tete, about 2 1/2" across at its widest point, to give you a reference here; much smaller than a "normal" daffodil.
What do you have popping up? I'd love to see!
So pretty, and I'm sure a welcome sight after a long, cold winter!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Yay for spring!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing these sweet, little flowers, Lin! Haven't seen anything here quite yet - very cold again today and down to 18 degrees tonight with a bit of snow coming on Wednesday - UGH! You made my day warmer with this post - thank you! ♥
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Here everything is weeks ahead and even the apple trees are in bloom already. We didn't have a real winter this year, so I am busy in the garden. I hope winter won't remember that he forgot us this year and won't come back to ruin everything!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers Lin. Sounds like it's been a long hard winter for you guys.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Lin - thank you for sharing them! I can't remember the last time I saw a daffodil - love them :)
ReplyDeleteLooooove seeing this bouquet Lin- it's a promise of spring:). After 3 days of glorious weather here the temps are supposed to dip down below freezing AGAIN tonight:(. I've been watching a pair of Robin's build a nest in our honeysuckle and I can see signs of a few of the day lilies poking up through the ground:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Thanks for sharing.
