This uses Hero Arts beautiful Dogwood wood stamp, colored in with worn lipstick, peeled paint, and a touch of vintage photo (in the flower centers) distress markers, spritzed with water, then stamped on heavy watercolor paper. I can't stop using these big words from Winnie & Walter (The Big, the Bold, and the Happy), and added my own "spring", which was masked out of an old Hero Arts word stamp. After everything was dry I smooshed some worn lipstick distress ink on an acrylic block, mixed it with lots of water and then used a fine paint brush to flick some of the color onto the card background. The panel was added to a Carnation card base. I really love how this turned out!
Here's another version. I thought I'd try to mimic what most of the dogwoods I've seen look like (white) and used antique linen and vintage photo distress markers for the flowers. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts Sympathy set, stamped in Memento Luxe Toffee Crunch.
