supplies: white, faded jeans, and peeled paint Core'dinations Distress cardstocks, Darice's Argyle embossing folder, faded jeans and peeled paint distress markers, Hero Arts Upperclass Alphabet dies, stamped sentiment from Winnie & Walter's The Big, the Bold, and the Happy, Hero Arts Navy ink, American Crafts blue grosgrain ribbon
I trimmed my argyle panel, framed it up in faded jeans and peeled paint papers, then added it to the card base, following the sketch. There seemed to me to be way too much white space to the right, until I added that "bow tie" ribbon, which served to somehow pull everything together!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty,Lin. The softness of the Distress Colors and the sentiment you chose just seem to be perfect . You're right, the blue ribbon brings everything together.
