I began by repeatedly stamping the rose (TCM Beautiful Spring, by Nina Brackett, now discontinued) all over my card front in Bubble Gum ink. Next I embossed it and some leaves in white and painted them with diluted picked raspberry and mowed lawn distress inks, with a yellow marker for the center. These were then cut out and popped above the base, and then I overstamped the sentiment, using Winnie & Walter's The Big, the Bold, and the Happy and The Big, the Bold and You in picked raspberry ink. Finished with some pink pearls.
Here's our inspiration photo:
Guess it's pretty obvious by now that I'm enamored of these pink roses........and I don't think I'm done yet!
