My first card for fall

When I saw the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, I immediately wanted to play because I knew I could use some washi tape for the strips on it.

I spied this floral Doodlebug one, thought of fall colors, and off I went.


supplies: kraft cardstock, Doodlebug washi tapes, Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves dies, Clearly Besotted Autumn Flowers sentiment, Cuttlebug D'vine Swirls embossing folder.

Fall is my favorite season, and I've seen a few autumn cards starting to pop up already........and here the temperatures have modulated already to a bit cool for July.....wonder what Mother Nature has in store for us in the coming months?

    I know how much you love fall, Lin and I love it too! But, I am so not ready to give up summer; even though it feels very fall-ish today!!!!

    Love that pretty washi tape and the leaves are just the right autumn shades. Great card.

    The embossed background makes one think of the leaves swirling around. Perfect. The washi tapes are a perfect addition to this card!
