All is Calm

I was glad to see that the theme of Holiday was chosen this month over at the AEI♥U challenge!  I knew immediately what I wanted to do.


I bought these 2 stamp sets (Let It Snow and Storybook) with just this scene in mind - I'm such a sucker for little fawns!  I added some stencilled snow to the mix (Simon's Falling Snow).

This next one is pure stamping, one layer, no bells or whistles, except maybe the fussy-cut and popped-up bow.  


It uses Avery Elle's Laurels set and the sentiment is again from Let It Snow.

    Lovely scene Lin! I love birch trees, see them here in our little forest. That little deer is so sweet. Love the winter feel on this card. This makes me feel I have to start my Christmas cards very soon!

    Your fawn card is adorable. We have had the pleasure of having lots of deer visit our yard to feast on corn and sunflower seeds this summer and fall, even two fawn with their spots still intact, so that card really touched me and made me smile. I love those creatures. So beautiful. Your wreath is lovely, and that popped up bow is perfect! Great cards to add to your pile Lin. Tomorrow I start my pile.

    I keep thinking that I need to order some Avery and Elle stamps because they are so lovely! Your card design just reinforces that. Such a cute little scene!
