Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
This week our theme is Stencil It! And the design team are all using products from The Crafter's Workshop.
supplies: The Crafter's Workshop Mini Pattern Strips, VersaFine Onyx Black ink, Altenew's Vintage Roses, Ranger's Conch Shell and Lemon Twist, Wplus9 Wild Mango, Hero's Soft Canteloupe, Green Hills, and Grass inks, Simon's Happy Every Day sentiment, Simon's fine detail white embossing powder and VersaMark ink, black and BoBunny yellow dot cardstock,
This Mini Pattern Strips stencil has 7 different patterns on it, so I chose 4 of them and "wove" them onto my card front, masking as needed. Then I just popped a big spray of my favorite yellow roses and this sweet sentiment, embossed in white on black cardstock.
On my next card I used some distress inks and modeling paste with my stencil:
supplies: The Crafter's Workshop Mini Harlequin stencil, cracked pistachio and tumbled glass distress inks, Liquitex modeling paste, Die-Namics Spring Wreath die, Impression Obsession Hollyhock dies, Simon's Flower Friend sentiment, Audrey Blue ink, hand-dyed seam binding, Sea Glass cardstock as card base, Audrey Blue and various pastel cardstocks
I started this card by sponging 2 soft distress inks through my stencil, and then some modeling paste. I remembered that it takes on the color of the ink below it. The rest of the elements kind of put themselves together!
