supplies: white and dark wine cardstock, Winnie & Walter Stripes set to make my plaid, Hero Arts StoneWash, Teddy Bear brown, and Wplus9 Crushed Cranberry inks, Inkadinkado Bird Stamp, markers to color, Hero Arts sentiment from a discontinued Sparkle Clear Messages set, Simon's Stitched Rectangles
The spongings around the stamped image weren't originally planned, but when I colored in my berries, and then later picked up that panel, they smudged, so I added more smudging with some distress inks.
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, Lin, what a beautiful (and masculine) card for your DH! I love the plaid and the colors you've used, and what a beautiful bird. You've colored him up so beautifully, with a lovely aura of colors! Stunning card, and how precious that he's been taking such good care of the birds during the winter! What a keeper, eh? Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo thoughtful of you,Lin, to make this beautiful birdie card for your husband. It carries special meaning to both of you,I'm sure. I love how you've colored the birdie in such rich colors to complete the plaid background.
