supplies: white pink cardstock, pale aqua card base, Wplus9 Woodland Wreath set and matching die, Simon Spring Rain and VersaFine Vintage Sepia inks, Nuvo Carnation Pink crystal drops, bow die from DieNamics retired Spring Wreath set, Wplus9 Christmas Greetings clear stamp, Tim Holtz Doily embossing folder, adhesive foam squares to pop up the wreath
I really don't know what prompted me to try framing this wreath with a doily embossing folder, but I like the results - just gives the card a little more of a feminine feel, and goes with the soft colors and the swirly sentiment.
It is very soft and feminine. I thought it was an actual doily until I read the post. It's lovely Lin.
ReplyDeleteSo delicate and I love the doily behind, Lin!!
ReplyDeleteOh what a sweet card Lin - love it

just so elegant and beautiful Lin. The doily behind the wreath is an inspired idea
ReplyDeleteOh, Lin, I saw this on Instagram and love seeing it here. What a gorgeous wreath that is soft and lovely in pastel colors, and I love the embossed doily behind it! Wow! This is a favorite sentiment that I bought too and think it's perfect. And I'm delighted to see you use one of the Nuvo drops. I've purchased a couple, but it's nice to see the colors used. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous card, and I'm thrilled you used this embossing folder (I have it too)...you continue to delight and inspire me, my friend!! Hugs! xoxo
