Happy Wednesday! Welcome to another challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
Our theme this week is this lovely Spring Color Inspiration that our Jenn made up for us:
......and we are playing with Lawn Fawn products! You don't have to use them for your entry, but if you have any, we'd love to see what you do with them!
My eyes went to that bicycle in the top left corner, and I remembered this bicycle stamp.......here's my card for this week:
My eyes went to that bicycle in the top left corner, and I remembered this bicycle stamp.......here's my card for this week:
supplies: white, banana, and apple green cardstock, plaid dp from Doodlebug Smitten Kitten, Lawn Fawn Cruising Through Life and (retired) Home Sweet Home (birds), sentiment from Simon's Flower Friend, Zig markers, Die-Namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle die
I simply stamped the bicycle on a wonky rectangle, colored it, and then made a little slit in the basket to insert the flowers from the same set. I doodled some grass, and then added the little banner and birds. I thought this plaid paper was a really good match to Jenn's color swatches.
Now it's your turn - I can't wait to see what you create! Heidi has provided another $50.00 gift voucher

ReplyDeleteVery pretty Lin.
ReplyDeleteHi Lin, I love your work! You did a Mother's Day card with a floral laced heart on peach paper and a Best Mom Ever sentiment. My question is what did you use to make the flower, and what paper did you use? The design says "Lin, 2014 Sending Hugs" Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, is this the card you're referring to: https://heartshugsandflowers.blogspot.com/2014/03/simon-says-mothers-day.html ?
DeleteIf so, the paper is a Hero Arts Carnation layering paper, I don't think it's available anymore singly, but as part of a 3-color pack of layering paper called Blush, available here: http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?u=1239246&b=199868&m=24698&afftrack=&urllink=www%2Esimonsaysstamp%2Ecom%2Fproduct%3Fid%3D64495
The flower is also Hero Arts, and also retired. It's a cling set called 3 Dotted Flowers, available here: https://www.scrapbook.com/store/hro-cg291.html
Yes, that's the card! Thank you so much for your time looking that up, you're very sweet! Unfortunately, I can't find the stamp set for sale anywhere. :( Prettiest Mother's Day card ever!
DeleteSuper sweet design, love the birdies! :)
