supplies: white cardstock, Mad About Plaid 2 step stencil, Tiny Sentiments cling stamps, Posie Parts cling stamps and matching dies, Simon's Stitched Rectangles, picked raspberry, peacock feathers, and twisted citron distress inks, ink blending tool, water brush, adhesive foam squares
These new stencils can cover a 5" X 7" area, so you have lots of wiggle room in placing the elements right where you want them. This particular set has a vertical stripe for 1 stencil and a horizontal one for the other, and since they're so large, you could also use just one of them and turn it 90 degrees to get a plaid. Lots of possibilities! After sponging on my distress inks, the panel was trimmed to fit onto an A2 card, then I cut another stitched rectangle for the center and stamped the sweet sentiment in the center. The posies were colored using the same distress inks diluted with a spritz of water, and then die-cut with their matching dies. I popped 2 of the posies above the rest of the card for a bit of dimension.
I am so excited about the Tiny Sentiments, too - they will be such fun to mix and match with Tammy's smaller stamp sets, more of which are coming in the pipeline!!
Enjoy your holiday weekend!
