Just love the partial coloring on the text background, Lin! Perfect with the twig wreath and little clump of leaves with twine!!
ReplyDeleteYou do wreath cards, and autumn cards so well Lin and this is no exception.
ReplyDeleteWhat ink did you use to stamp the words stamp? Is it embossed? Would you please give a bit more info on how to make the background. Thank you. Just love the card!
ReplyDeleteHi Anne, yes - I clear embossed the text background over a cream cardstock. After trimming the panel to size, I smeared ripe persimmon and festive berries distress ink on my craft mat, spritzed them lightly with water and used a paint brush to wash the colors over my embossed text background, and splattered some of the mixture on top. Hope that helps?
