Happy Wednesday! Welcome to another challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
supplies: kraft, Peacock Teal, Schoolhouse Red, Lipstick Red, and black card stock, Creative Expressions Robin Redbreast Stained Glass die
This die was love at first sight - and when I got it home I decided to do some old-fashioned paper-piecing with colored cardstock. This die covers a card nicely, and I don't think it needs a sentiment, so I just centered it on my card front.
Now it's your turn! We have a $50.00 gift certificate
This is lovely Lin, it looks like stained glass!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this card Lin! The die is absolutely STUNNING!! I think its very Rennie Mackintosh inspired (though I could be wrong ;-)) The colours and whole design of this is so beautiful!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely festive week!

I can see the Rennie Macintosh leaded windows in your card too, fabulous
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Lin. This would be great too as in inlaid die card, then covered with clear embossing for a fabulous stained glass look and feel.
ReplyDeleteThis card looks awesome, I have not heard about paper piecing, but after looking at this, would certainly love to know more about it.
ReplyDeletevery beautiful Lin.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card Lin, you have really made that die 'sing' as the centre piece of your card.

I saw this card on Instagram and I was like, wow! such a beautiful color palette. You are such an inspiration and I love how realistic it looks as a stained glass painting with all this black outlines. My mom did a lot of stained glass work back in the day so this card is a walk down the memory lane. xx Ankita
