Happy Wednesday - welcome to our challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
This week we're featuring our very own Simon Says Stamp exclusives, and our theme is Thinking of You. I used a lovely Maple Leaf die, in both the negative and positive cuts, for my cards today.
supplies: white cardstock, aqua plank dp, Simon's Stitched Grand Maple die, sentiment from (retired) Hand Lettered Winter Wishes, Spellbinders Falling Leaves embossing folder, twine, aqua enamel dot, adhesive foam to lift embossed panel
Here's a 2nd card, using the same Stitched Grand Maple die. It's made to show the stitching outside of the die-cut, and that shows up better on this card.
supplies: ivory card, Simon's Stitched Grand Maple die, distress inks to color, You die, stamped sentiment from (retired) Hello You, Penny Black Stitched Stackers die, gold seauins, adhesive foam to pop up leaf
Now it's your turn! We have a $50.00 gift certificate
to the amazing Simon Says Stamp store for 1 lucky random winner of this week's challenge! I can't wait to see what you all make this week!
love both of these Lin - especially the colors in the first - so pretty
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous leafy cards, Lin! Especially love your orange blended leaf on card two and the pretty plank paper on card one!!
ReplyDeleteWOW, love them both.
ReplyDeleteThese cards are beautiful. May I ask what is the brand of the aqua plank designer paper?
ReplyDeleteThank you
Nonnajoy, it's an 8 1/2 X 11 paper from Hobby Lobby, and there are other color-ways, too! I use these mostly for putting behind my cards when I photograph them, but this aqua one was too pretty not to use as a design element!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lin!!
ReplyDeleteGuess I'll hit up Hobby Lobby....
Gorgeous cards Lin :-) the maple leaf design is beautiful and I love the aqua wood paper on the first and beautiful autum colors on your 2nd one, both absolutely stunning! :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely day!

ReplyDeleteStunning cars Lin, and I must say that my favourite (but only by a whisker) is the second one with the orange leaf against the white

Two PRETTY cards Lin!
ReplyDeleteLin, these are both exquisite! I had just written how my own LF leaves are the most used dies ever in my studio - I would gladly add this amazing die to my collection! AMAZING cards!
