February is all about the hearts for me, so I'm starting it off with a Valentine that uses lots of different supplies from as many companies.
supplies: white and orchid pink cardstock, Simon's Spring Flowers Background cling, embossed in white and inked with picked raspberry oxide ink, (retired) sentiment from Only Have Eyes for You, (retired) Tammy Tutterow Prim Heart die, Hero Arts leaf sprig die, inked in mowed lawn oxide ink, Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Rectangle die, Buttons Galore Sweethearts Sprinkletz, adhesive foam squares
To start I stamped and white embossed my floral background, then brushed on some picked raspberry oxide ink. From that, I die-cut out a primitive heart and sized my panel to fit inside the scalloped panel. I stamped the sentiment on the white panel and attached it to my card base. Then I added my leaf sprigs before popping up the pink panel. And to finish I added some tiny white hearts to the leaves.
My Mom always sent us Valentines, beginning when we went away to school, and continuing for quite a long time, so making them each year is my homage to her. Nowadays I send them to our kids and Grands, my sisters, and of course, my Mom! Is it an important day for you?
Thanks for stopping by - have a good week!
