Coneflowers for Fall

Here's another play with the gorgeous Coneflower layering dies from Honey Bee Stamps!

supplies: cream, kraft, Green Leaf, shades of coral and orange card, Honey Bee Lovely Layers Coneflower dies, inks and daubers to add details, Sunny Studio Autumn Greetings sentiment, cream embossing powder, enamel dots, mini slimline die, adhesive foam squares

There are 4 layers to the flower - today I separated each one with adhesive foam, so there's lots of dimension on this one!

Coneflowers aren't just pink anymore - there's a whole lovely array of colors nowadays.  I based these ones on some plants that I tried several years ago, seems like they were called Sunset; they were beautiful, but never came back the following year, so I haven't tried again.  Have you had any better luck?

Thanks for your visit!

  1. Beautiful card--I love coneflowers and the dimension you achieved is gorgeous! I have several different colors of coneflowers in my flower beds. Sunset is my favorite but I tried a red color this year that is stunning.

  2. Hello Lin, Popping in to see what you have been up to. Your card is gorgeous. Love the dimension and I really like the slimline die. I have seen so many pretty cards with the Coneflower die and I want it so bad. But I'm trying to wait until after Christmas.Hope you are doing well. Stay safe!
