Happy Hollyhocks
supplies: pink card stock as base, Hero Arts K5370 Garden Silhouette, CL169 SparkleClear Happy Thoughts, jillibean soup "Blossom Soup" dp, BoBunny Avocado Dot dp, EK Success scallop diamond edge punch, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Nesties circle die-cut, twine, pink and green Memento markers
I was just playing around with this negative-image silhouette stamp and decided to try stamping it over a very busy design paper. So I stamped it in Versamark ink, heat embossed it in white powder, then colored the flowers in with a pale pink marker, and the leaves with a green marker. I really like how the print shows through the flowers, giving the effect of what hollyhocks really look like. I've added the punched butterfly and the tag to show you what the paper originally looked like.
I'd like to enter this card into the July Card Challenge: Embossing at Simply Stamping Crafts, and also into the Stamp It! Cards Week Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
