Pink, red and cream

I could not wait to get to this latest CR84FN challenge!  Although I don't use red very much, I thought this color combination was beautiful:


I recently bought a DCWV paper pad which had at the very back this cream paper with an embossed and glittered red rose and a pink shadow behind it. That was my starting point.  I clear embossed a doily in the corner, then rubbed in some spun sugar distress ink to bring out the detail.  Then I stamped handwriting here and there in antique linen distress ink, and the sentiment in sepia ink.  All it needed then was a pink butterfly and a seam-binding ribbon, and I framed it in some girls' paperie paper with a brown dot.  I LOVE the result, like an old-fashioned love letter!
