Bling at CAS-ual Fridays

This week at CAS-ual Fridays our assignment is to make a CAS card and "put a bling on it"......I knew immediately what I wanted to do, because I've been enjoying our New Dawn roses which are just blooming on our arbor in the back yard:


So here is my CAS take on that photograph, using some elements given to me by my friends Carol and Clare.  I used my bling for rosebuds:



supplies: white cardstock, Cuttlebug Wicker Weave embossing folder, unknown vining leaf die-cut given to me by my friend Carol, rose from Clare, pink gemstones, The Crafts Meow Simply Delightful sentiment, VersaFine onyx black ink




I'll also enter this into Simon Says Stamp's "Anything Goes" challenge.

  20. What a simple combo of elements...the embossing really sets off the design. Have not seen the Wicker Weave. Love those pink roses in your garden. I have that Flourish die from Cheery Lynn...one of my faves. May have to CASE your card.
