supplies: white cardstock, Hero Arts pool layering paper, S5056 Floating Leaf Pattern, K5175 Houndstooth, CG211 Magical Background, CG118 Stripes Pattern, S5101 Raindrops Background, CG123 Flower Wallpaper, CL338 Be Yourself (sentiment), splash chalk ink, VersaMark ink and Zing white cmbossing powder, lace flower, paper flower, Basic Grey brad
I made this one monochromatic, working with pool layering paper and a variety of Hero Arts background stamps embossed in white. Then I added an old lace flower centered with a paper one and a Basic Grey brad.
supplies: white cardstock, Hero Arts CL450 Bold Blossoms, CL491 Made with Love (butterfly), CL342 Everyday Sayings, butter bar and bubble gum mid-tone inks, Adirondack Sunset Orange ink, pink, yellow and orange gems
I love these colors - they are often used by Sally Traidman, one of the Hero Arts artists, and that big flower reminds me a bit of a butterfly - it stamped up nicely in the mid-tone inks..
supplies: white cardstock, adhesive paper tapes from Anna Griffin, yellow floral design paper from "Dutch Mustard Soup" by Jillibean Soup, Hero Arts CL489 Yummy Treats (sentiment), CL297 4 Dolls (little flowers), CL497 Find Joy (little leaves), VersaFine onyx black ink, pink and yellow gems
This one may be my favorite. This is NOT Washi tape, but some adhesive paper strips on rolls by Anna Griffin; they all came in 1 set and so coordinate nicely.
I'll also enter this last one into the "Anything Goes" challenge at Simon Says Stamp. and also into CAS-ual Fridays "Put a Bling on it" challenge.

Oh my goodness, I never know what to do with a sketch until I see what you have done....these cards are chock full of gorgeous creativity, Lin! It makes me so happy that you make cards and share them, what would I do without your amazing brilliance!
ReplyDeleteFabulous set of cards - the Thinking of You is definitely my favourite. Adore those summery colours and that Bold Blossoms stamp is so groovy! Very 60s.

ReplyDeleteWow! They are all beautiful but my favorite is the last one. Those tapes look so good together. I actually have the set you used on the second one but haven't been able to come up with anything I liked so far, but now that I see your card I will have another go at it.
ReplyDeleteThree amazing cards, Lin! I especially love the aqua one - you worked wonders with that sketch!

ReplyDeleteThat first card is a favorite for me. I love that you used the same colors and white embossing on all the pieces so the different patterns work together beautifully. I agree, that second card flower stamp does remind me of a butterfly - very whimsical idea you had. That third card has such great banner designs, perfect way to use those strips.
