Mojo Monday

I love the sketches from the Mojo Monday blog - this one is especially wonderful.

I just got a new My Mind's Eye paper pad at Michaels earlier this week and used the beautiful papers from it to make my card.  I have always loved blues and yellows together!  Could it be that "true" blues (not the green-toned ones that we've had so much of lately) are coming back?  Sure hope so!

supplies: white cardstock, MME "Moments" 6" paper pad from Michael's, Die-Namics oval doily die cut (thank you Carol!), Papertrey Ink The Sweet Life, Technique Tuesday Simply You by Ali Edwards, Hero Arts Cerulean chalk and Stone Wash midl-tone inks, Recollections pearls

  8. I love these papers too, Lin! Glad we finally have a Michaels here. I purchased this paper pad earlier this year at Archivers; but there are some other great ones to be had! LOL

  9. That is such a pretty color combination. I love the true blues, too. They are easier to pair with other colors, I think.

  10. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who lusts after a good blue that doesn't fall into the aqua range. My favorite combo for true blue is to pair it with yellow as you did or with a sand color. I shall have to get busy and make a card using your sketch!TFS
