This week we are asking for Thinking of You or Sympathy cards. I chose to make a sympathy card, knowing that it would be nice to have one ready next time a sad occasion warrants one........
I used some beautiful Hero Arts stamps: the Antique Flower Background, and the sentiment from With
Sympathy. This set has the most beautiful font and some really lovely sentiments included - I think it's something we should all have for these types of occasions. I stamped them both in black, embossing the sentiment, and then framed up each panel in black before adhering them to my card base. Then I used my Die-Namics Rolled Rose die and some gold felt to make my flower. These roses are really easy to make when using soft felt. The leaves are also die-cut felt, and I added some gold pearls to finish.
