Hello! Welcome to the first day of our new stamp previews at The Craft's Meow! Today's stamp is called Beautiful Hymns Two, and it is a companion to Nina's Beautiful Hymns set released in February of this year. I remember singing all of these hymns growing up......what a shame that they are heard so rarely now. I'm so glad that Nina brought them back for us; they will make great sentiments of comfort for our cards. I made 2 cards today using this set:
This card uses a paper from Basic Grey's Lucille paper pad; I cut out a strip of it, fussy cutting along the right edge and also cut out some extra flowers to sprinkle on the rest of the card. Here's another of the hymns in this new set:
This one uses papers from MME's Moments paper pad, and another of the hymns.

Such beautiful sentiments Lin. Both cards are simply gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, Lin - especially the one with the roses!
ReplyDeleteThe recipients will be very touched by these two cards Lin!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are beautiful. I especially enjoy the second color. Great choice of patterns for the banners. I love the central panel with beautiful sentiment and the two dots are the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteI am singing "He Leadeth me" in my head after seeing your lovely card. We do sing that hymn on occasion in our church. I try to enjoy the contemporary songs, but it's the older ones that bring comfort!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards, the first one looks so vintage to me!
