Stenciled Day 1: Inking


Today is Day 1 of  the Stenciled Online Card Class, and here's my first homework card.


supplies: Poppy layering paper, The Crafter's Workshop Mini Flower Frenzy stencil, mustard seed, worn lipstick, and picked raspberry distress inks, Hero Arts Made with Love sentiment, Doodlebug doodle twine, coral and orange enamel dots, Lawn Fawn sequins

This is a CASE of a card by Debby Hughes - I LOVE what she's been doing with vellum!  I am so glad I'm in this class - you can join at any time by going HERE.

  2. I just finished my first card for this class, and I am glad that I didn't look at your card first. I am blown away! The colors are amazing, and the sentiment works so well with the vellum. I think you moved to the head of the class!! Awesome job.

  7. I had no idea this stencil could look so beautiful! The color combo is so soft and feminine, and I love how you CASE'd Debby's idea to use vellum for your sentiment ~ Gorgeous work of art, Lin!

  16. So glad you are taking this class too so I can see your cards -- this one is beautiful! I spent the afternoon in the craft room and managed to complete 3 assignments, one of which I'm very happy with. Can't wait to see yours as you complete them!

  19. Love your card....immediately takes me to SPRING and with the brutally cold weather we've had, it feels warm just seeing this fun colors.

    I'm excited to start on my first project tomorrow! I had a crazy day today, but did visit my LSS and now have what I need!!

    I loved this card online and yours is so pretty with the extra sparkle of the sequins.

    I am going to try one like Laura's, which I also LOVED!

  29. I just bought this stencil & was searching Google images to see how others have used it. I was excited to see that you made this card while in the Stenciled class. I took that class too & learned so much. Love the colors you chose!
