Summer Flowers

I've been playing again......

I have always loved text on a card, and Hero Arts did all of the work for me with this stamp called Flower Text, now sadly discontinued.  It is one big woodblock stamp, and I simply paper-pieced it over a pool background, and added some enamel dots for a little dimension.   The papers are from a variety of 6" paper pads.  This can be an all occasion card, as I didn't add any sentiment.

Thanks for visiting today - enjoy your Sunday!

  2. I have this fun stamp! I've played with coloring the flowers separately with gelatos and then fussy cutting and adhering them, but I never tried paper piecing them. This is just adorable and a great way to use those tiny scraps I hate to throw out!
