Gingham and Flowers

I have always loved ginghams, but they had become scarce there for awhile.  I am so thrilled that My Favorite Things gave us a paper pad full of small-scale ginghams!   I teamed one of them up with some new Wplus9 flowers.  I like how the gingham gives these flowers a little punch!

supplies: white cardstock, My Favorite Things Tiny Check paper pack, Wplus9 You = Kind clear stamp set,  Hero Arts Bubble Gum, Orange Soda, Butter Bar, and Green Hills inks, DieNamics Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangles die

If you'd like to see these same flowers used in a little different way, see this card.

Hope you're having a great weekend and staying cool!

  2. Your card is so very pretty!!! I'm right there with you on the gingham! I ordered that same paper pad as soon as MFT had it! I really like your card layout and how you used the gingham. I have a card front that I've finished and will try your layout to see if it works. Thanks for sharing your awesome card!

  6. Gingham seems to add not only a bit of "retro" charm, but freshness, IMO - and your card today is all about fresh! Fresh colours, fresh LO and of course, that lovely strip of DP. A lovely card, Lin.
