Hi everyone! Happy Weekend!
Here is Dawn's final card for us this month at CASE Stidu. I love this sketch!
We have so many daisy-like flowers blooming in our gardens right now: coneflowers, black-eyed susans, and of course good old daisies, everyone's happy flower. I recently was at a funeral for my 89 year old aunt, and there was a simple vase of daisies from her high school best friends; so very charming in all the sea of huge arrangements. So anyway, here's my take on Dawn's card:
:
supplies: white and yellow card stock, Hero Arts CL304 A Million Thanks, S5507 Envelope Pattern, versafine onyx black ink, mustard seed distress ink, green and yellow watercolor pencils, liquid pearls, Martha Stewart doily punch, EK Success corner rounder
And again, I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge.

How beautiful! I love how you used the pearls as a kind of berry or unopened bud. Really soft and sweet:)
Pretty card, Lin! Love the dimension! Daisies really are charming, aren't they?
Ok, I have never seen this HA set before, I must be walking around with blinkers on! It's absolutely beautiful what you did with this flower Lin! I love it so much! Beautiful choice of colors. As for this sketch, I fell in love with it when I saw it on Rosemary's blog I think it was, and I am sitting here in my craft room, as I am typing this, actually finishing off a card with this same sketch! This is a fabulous card (in case I did not say that already!)
Gorgeous flowers & colours! What a fabulous CASE!

Daisies are so sweet. A simple flower but they always make me smile. What I love about your card is the design and the balance of colors. I love the checkered background and the border. The doily punch is a beautiful and subtle detail and goes so well with the daisies. Love it!
Amazing!! I LOVE how the black accents stand out against the light background!
Another stunner Lin! the flowers are amazing against the background and the touch of pearls is perfect!
