The first thing that jumped out at me was the pattern of the cloth, with the black "love" motifs on it, and after that, the bits of orange and what appear to be script. The design made me remember this dp from an older Basic Grey collection called Kioshi, so I made that my base.
And I overstamped this stylized love motif from Simon Says Stamp's Tag Sayings, alng with the script from an old Hero Arts woodblock set, Artistic Windows. I found a sheet of orange to match the orange in my paper from another Basic Grey pad, Ambrosia, and skewed the 2 panels to mimic the way the model is standing. And I added this die-cut hello (Simon's small hello die) in black to finish.
I'm really interested to see what everyone else's takes on this are!

Great interpretation of this challenge. You really nailed it. I too remember the fashions of the 60's and 70's...a fun fashion time.
Well now, whatever others do or have done with this photo, it sure won't be as good a match as this card, Lin! That patterned paper is just THE perfect one for this challenge and the way you positioned the layers is also perfect. Winner, winner, chicken dinner in my book!!
You have captured the girls outfit & attitude wonderfully.
Perfect paper choice.
It's the perfect take on the inspiration photo, Lin!

Great way to use the inspiration picture... and one of my most favourite papers too! Jo x

I think you rocked that challenge - so far my favorite!
Wonderful interpretation!
Well, sadly, I'm not an RIC judge, but if I were, this would be a winner! You rocked that dress with this card, Lin!! Have a great day!! Hugs, Darnell
These Kioshi papers are so perfect with the inspiration photo...how fun that you still had some to play with! Love your die cut greeting and how your design mimics the models stance...so clever, and so beautiful!
Brilliant take on the inspiration photo, Lin - the patterned paper is perfect!
