A Birthday Card

Our oldest Grand turned 15 this year - here's the card I made for him.  It's getting more and more difficult the older they get!

I started by embossing the birthday candles folder onto brightly striped design paper, then just added my sentiment and the glitzy numbers, which are actually stitching dies, but work well on their own, too.

Do you have any hints for birthday designs for teens?

Thanks for your visit - enjoy your day!

Fun rainbow candles, Lin - I think they're perfect for a teen, especially with the jumbo #s! I think music or sports stuff work well for teens if they're into them....but I agree, it's harder coming up with ideas for them. Glad my nieces are in their 20s now!!

It's absolutely fabulous Lin. It does get harder when the boys get older. Love how bright and cheerful this one is.

Oh I heat your angst about creating teen cards - no specific hints as my DGD loves flowers, so quite simple, and the DGS in his teens is a lego modeller, so as long as I can get a lego image, he's happy!
Love your rainbow card - it's quite fun, with the fabulous sentiment panel and numbers
